Welcome to Beacon Hill

In one of Boston’s most charming areas, the neighborhood of Beacon Hill truly shines. With its steep streets lined with Federal-style and Victorian brick row houses lit by antique lanterns, Beacon Hill is one of Boston’s oldest and most desirable neighborhoods. Residents have been drawn to the neighborhood for years, due to its roots in American history.

Beacon Hill is so stranger to its roots in American History. The neighborhood playfully got its name due to the hill that was topped by a beacon, which once alerted Bostonians to danger in the 1900s. Today, residents are proud of the history that is intertwined with the area. From Louisa May Alcott to Supreme Court Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes, Jr, Beacon Hill has been a prime location for historical figures, which is a huge draw to residents who want to share their own stories today.

Residents are drawn to live here to have a slice of literal history, whether a historical resident or a particular street that someone has walked down.

Beacon Hill is a prime residential area for families, young professionals, and retirees.
